Service Delivery Manager

Clean Harbors is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to join our team in Santa Monica, CA. In this role, you will manage the daily completion of routes by motivating and directing team members while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will maintain strong operational adherence to all DOT, EPA, state and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Ensuring health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices and policies
• Training, developing, and managing sales and service route drivers
• Managing the flow of service requests to ensure timely and efficient customer service
• Conducting end-of-day check-in and morning check-out processes with drivers
• Fulfilling the duties of a route driver when necessary during absences
• Providing field coaching, sales training, and periodic customer consultations
• Increasing sales portfolios and scheduling services to resolve route issues
• Ensuring the completion and organization of mandated paperwork while following all compliance regulations
• Safely operating vehicles and adhering to U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements

Qualified candidates will possess:

• A Class B CDL
• The ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment
• Prior leadership experience and intermediate computer skills
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
• The ability to perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination
• Preferred qualifications include previous route driver experience and prior dispatch or logistics experience
