OneJobCareer (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates onejobcareer.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices and rights you have — including under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), for visitors those laws apply to.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, and password (encrypted) if you create an account.
- Job listing data: if you post a job, the company and listing details you submit.
- Contact form: name, email, and message content when you contact us.
- Usage data: pages visited, device/browser type, and approximate location, via analytics cookies.
2. How we use your data
- To operate your account and let you manage job listings you’ve posted.
- To respond to inquiries submitted via the contact form.
- To understand site usage and improve the experience.
- To display advertising, which may be personalized based on cookies (see Section 4).
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we process your data based on: your consent (e.g., newsletter, personalized ads), performance of a contract (e.g., account features), and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site.
4. Cookies and advertising
We use essential cookies (site functionality), analytics cookies (to understand usage), and — where applicable — advertising cookies from third-party networks, which may personalize ads based on your browsing activity across sites. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser at any time, and opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings or optout.aboutads.info.
5. Sharing of data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Service providers (hosting, email delivery) under confidentiality obligations.
- Advertising networks, limited to what’s needed to serve ads (Section 4).
- Authorities, where required by law.
Clicking “Apply” on a job listing takes you to the employer’s own site or application system — we’re not responsible for their privacy practices.
6. Your rights
If you’re in the EU/UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing, including withdrawing consent at any time.
If you’re a California resident (CCPA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell data, but some advertising cookie use may be considered “sharing” under CCPA’s broad definition — use the opt-out links in Section 4).

7. International data transfers
Some of our service providers (analytics, advertising, cloud hosting) may process data outside your country of residence. These providers maintain appropriate safeguards consistent with GDPR and other applicable frameworks.
8. Children’s privacy
OneJobCareer is intended for job seekers aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us so we can remove it.
9. Data retention
We retain account and listing data for as long as your account is active, and delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period after account deletion, except where retention is required by law.

We may update this policy periodically. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
