Cardiologist

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiologist for a full-time position with Primecare Medical Group in Edison, New Jersey. As a Cardiologist with our team, you will manage a diverse patient population and focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular diseases. You will benefit from a robust, built-in referral network established by our primary care providers and other specialists, allowing you to focus primarily on delivering outstanding patient care within our modern facilities.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Providing comprehensive non-invasive or general cardiology consultations for various conditions, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
• Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborating closely with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educating patients on preventative care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle modifications.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and thorough electronic medical records.

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
• Valid and unrestricted New Jersey State Medical License.
• Current DEA and CDS registration.
• New graduates with strong recommendations are welcome to apply.

We offer a starting base salary of $355,762, which serves as a reasonable good-faith estimate of the minimum base pay at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act. The final compensation package is part of a market-competitive total rewards offering and will be discussed during the interview process, determined by factors such as specialization, experience, education, board certifications, and productivity.
