PA, Physician Assistant – Urgent Care

Christus Health is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our busy Urgent Care team in the Cibolo and New Braunfels, TX area. We are looking for a dedicated healthcare professional with a proven ability to manage patients independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

As a Physician Assistant in our urgent care clinic, your core responsibilities will include:

• Providing evaluation and treatment for patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and non-emergent medical conditions.
• Performing minor procedures, including wound care, suturing, splinting, and other standard urgent care services.
• Ordering, interpreting, and following up on diagnostic tests such as X-rays and laboratory work.
• Collaborating closely with urgent care physicians and clinical support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Educating patients on personalized treatment plans, prescribed medications, and necessary follow-up care.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Current, active Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas.
• National certification through the NCCPA.
• Previous clinical experience working in an urgent care environment.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrated excellent clinical judgment and the ability to work independently.
