Bank of America is seeking a Financial Solutions Advisor Registration Candidate for the West Sacramento Market, based in Sacramento, CA. Your journey begins by obtaining your Securities Industry licenses through dedicated, personalized classes and structured study time for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams (Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of 66). You must obtain your SIE within 30 days of hire and your Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days. Once licensed, you will learn foundational skills to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, guiding clients with advice and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.
Key responsibilities and support include:
- Building a successful career through world-class training, onboarding programs, and one-on-one coaching from dedicated Academy managers.
- Growing your business knowledge by using a defined consultative approach to systematically identify client needs and appropriate solutions.
- Interacting with banking customers, small business owners, and high-net-worth clients at a financial center, leveraging Bank of America relationships.
- Providing end-to-end comprehensive advice, delivering client reviews and presentations, and recommending strategies to help clients achieve life priorities.
- Collaborating with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to solutions provided by Bank of America and Merrill.
- Managing tasks simultaneously while learning and adapting to new technology and applications.
Position requirements and qualifications:
- Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma, GED, Secondary School, or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience preferred).
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses and self-discipline in managing time and capacity.
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions.
- Strong peer relationship-creation through effective communication, collaboration, and a results-driven mindset prioritizing client interests.
- Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including submission to required background checks and registration processes for residential loan mortgage originations.
- Compliance with applicable laws or regulations restricting or prohibiting the hiring of individuals with certain specified criminal history (FDIC, Safe Act, Loan Originators, FINRA).
Additional details for this position:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays, 1st shift, 40 hours per week.
- Work environment: Bank of America is committed to an in-office culture with specific requirements for office-based attendance and flexibility. You may train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a specific financial center location is determined within a reasonable commuting distance.
- Compensation: Hourly pay ranging from $28.85 to $33.65, with offers determined based on experience, education, and skill set. This role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible.
