Optum, a leading part of the nation’s largest network of medical groups, is seeking dedicated Full-Time or Part-Time Primary Care Physicians to join our team. In this outpatient-only role, you will experience a quality-focused care model where you will typically see around 18 to 20 patients per day. To support a healthy work-life balance and high standards of care, your schedule includes dedicated weekly administrative time with approximately 40 minutes baked into each day. Appointment lengths are designed thoughtfully, featuring 40-minute new patient visits and 20-minute follow-up visits. You will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers backed by dedicated support staff, enabling you to practice at the full scope of your license. Office hours run Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no nights or weekends required, and no mandatory call or urgent care shifts.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.), or M.B.B.S degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the relevant jurisdiction or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
Preferred qualifications that enhance your application include one or more years of experience in a managed care setting, bilingual Spanish proficiency, and a readiness to welcome new graduates.
