Optum is seeking dedicated Primary Care Physicians in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine to join our dynamic care organization in Washington State, with opportunities available throughout the Greater Everett area and Puget Sound region. In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services, helping patients achieve better health outcomes. Whether you are looking for full-time, part-time, float, or four-day work week arrangements, we offer flexible scheduling designed to support a healthy work-life balance.

Key responsibilities and position details include the following:

  • Conducting office consults, annual wellness visits, follow-up appointments, and routine in-office procedures.
  • Managing a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals, with potential Family Medicine opportunities involving OB at select clinic locations.
  • Collaborating closely with dedicated Medical Assistants and Advanced Practice Clinical support staff.
  • Participating in a light, shared call schedule supported by Triage RN call services.

To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Possess an unrestricted Washington State Physician License, or have the ability to obtain one prior to the start date.
  • Hold a current DEA certificate prior to starting.
  • Be Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, including welcoming 2024 graduates.
  • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), with EPIC experience preferred.

We provide a comprehensive compensation and total rewards package to recognize your hard work and dedication. The annual salary range for this full-time role is $226,000 to $366,000, with actual pay determined by factors such as education, experience, local labor markets, and certifications. Additional benefits include competitive compensation, medical malpractice coverage with a tail policy, generous paid time off and holidays, continuing medical education (CME) time and allowance, medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, bonus potential, and retirement savings options.
