Certified Surgical Technologist Full Time Days RBH

Resolute Health Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Certified Surgical Technologist Full Time Days at our facility in Cibolo, TX. In this role, you will provide direct and indirect technical care to surgical and obstetric patients across the age spectrum. Your primary focus will be facilitating the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures while adhering to established healthcare practices, hospital standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room, handling surgical instruments and supplies, and collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Qualified candidates must meet the following education and certification requirements:

• High-school graduate
• Graduate of a Department of Education (DOE) or Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) accredited surgical technology program
• Required certifications include either the Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the Technician in Surgery–Certified (TS-C) credential from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
• Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the ARC or AHA upon hire, with AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required within 60 days of hire
• Preferred qualifications include one year of experience as a Surgical or OB Technologist in an acute care or ambulatory setting
