At Residential Home Health and Hospice, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our extraordinary care team in Traverse City, MI and surrounding areas. Grounded by our belief that outstanding care is best delivered in a team-based environment, our hospice nurses collaborate closely to manage and deliver personalized patient care plans.
As a Hospice RN with Residential, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care and emotional support to patients and their families. Responsibilities typically include conducting patient assessments, implementing care plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary team members, and documenting clinical notes in a timely manner using advanced electronic medical record (EMR) technology.
We are looking for compassionate nursing professionals who meet the following qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing
- Two years of RN experience, with hospice experience preferred
- Current driver’s license and the ability to travel to patient locations
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to self-manage your schedule
- Proficiency with mobile devices, tablets, and EMR software
- A commitment to meeting critical documentation and charting deadlines
