Elliot Health System is currently seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our established Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire. As part of our 30-bed private and semi-private unit, you will focus on family-centered care while working collaboratively with our neonatology team to support high-risk newborns and their families.
In this rewarding clinical role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care within our advanced unit. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Creating, implementing, and coordinating individualized plans of care for high-risk newborns
- Providing patient and family education throughout the care journey
- Participating in quality and safety initiatives through the Vermont Oxford Network and Team STEPPS
- Collaborating with a robust network of pediatric subspecialists and maternal-fetal medicine services
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Eligibility for a New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner license
- Eligibility for a Federal DEA Certificate
- Proficiency in essential clinical procedures, including PICC lines, delivery room management, lumbar punctures, and endotracheal intubations
