CHRISTUS South New Mexico Urgent Care Associates is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner for a full-time opportunity in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Join a collaborative clinical team consisting of five Nurse Practitioners, LPNs, Medical Assistants, and X-ray technicians to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care.
In this role, you will manage a 100% outpatient patient distribution with daily volumes reaching up to 30 to 40 patients. Procedures required for this position include lacerations, suturing, splinting, higher-level procedures, initial X-ray reads, and IV hydration. The standard work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with no call responsibilities.
Candidates with previous Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience, or two years of background in Primary Care, are preferred. However, CHRISTUS Health remains open to reviewing the right candidate without prior urgent care experience. Applicants must be licensed in New Mexico or willing to obtain licensure prior to the hire date.
