In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Rounding in assigned hospitals generally from 7:00 AM to approximately 5:00 PM, with schedules varying
- Participating in the hospital call schedule alongside other hospitalists and internists in the call group, without typical requirements to stay overnight in the hospital
- Efficiently managing hospitalized patients and interacting with specialists to coordinate comprehensive care
- Transitioning follow-up care safely and effectively to the outpatient setting by collaborating with primary care physicians, case managers, and specialists
- Participating periodically in the teaching of medical students and house staff
- Engaging in hospital committees, initiatives, and department activities
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following required qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Completed accredited residency training
- Licensed, or willing to be licensed, in the appropriate state jurisdiction
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Preferred qualifications that enhance your application include bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
The total cash compensation at target for this full-time role ranges from $260,000 to $387,000 annually. The actual pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience, metric achievement, local labor markets, education, and other applicable factors. Eligible employees may also have access to comprehensive benefits packages, incentive and recognition programs, equity options, and retirement contribution plans.
