Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift position in the Emergency Department. This role is located at Piedmont Medical Center – Gold Hill, a freestanding emergency department operated by Piedmont Medical Center situated in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Opened in early 2020, this facility provides 24-hour emergency care, imaging, and lab services to the local community. An eligible sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 may be available for qualified candidates.
As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will provide, promote, and maintain quality patient care through standards of practice, patient and family education, and active collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare providers. Your responsibilities will involve assessing patient conditions, delivering timely interventions, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a compassionate and safe environment for individuals seeking emergency medical attention.
Candidates must meet the following education, licensure, and certification requirements:
- Minimum Education: Associate degree in Nursing required.
- Minimum Experience: One year of experience in acute care, critical care, or an emergency department preferred. Monitor experience or EKG course completion required.
- Licensure: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from your state of residence is required (or must be applied for within 30 days if holding a license from another Compact state).
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS CPR required within 7 days of hire; American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS required within the orientation period. ENPC, TNCC, and CEN are preferred.
