CT Tech Sr FT Days

Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, AZ is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for a full-time, day-shift CT Tech Sr FT Days position. As a senior computed tomography technologist, you will play a vital leadership and technical role within our imaging department. Under the guidance of the Director, you will help supervise activities of technologists and students, coordinate workflow, ensure the availability and proper functioning of supplies and equipment, and provide professional guidance to medical staff.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Coordinating daily workflow within the department and across other areas of the hospital
• Providing professional and technical guidance while conferring with medical staff as appropriate
• Assuring the availability and proper functioning of necessary medical supplies and equipment
• Making recommendations regarding the hiring, disciplining, and overall performance of departmental staff
• Overseeing and evaluating assigned imaging students and rotating personnel
• Completing all established departmental competencies within the designated introductory period

Candidates applying for the CT Tech Sr FT Days position must meet the following education, experience, and credentialing requirements:

• Education: Required graduate of an accredited Imaging Program; preferred Associate degree
• Experience: Required 3 years of CT experience; preferred 2 years of supervisory experience
• Certifications: Required ARRT (R) with documentation of CT training and experience; must obtain CT Registry within one year of hire; AHA BLS certification; and state license if required
