Christus Health is seeking a qualified Physician in Pulmonology to join our professional team in Santa Fe, NM. This full-time faculty position offers an opportunity to contribute to high standards of patient care, clinical education, and healthcare excellence within an established medical environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients with various conditions, disorders, and diseases affecting the respiratory system and lungs. Your primary duties and responsibilities will typically include:
- Admitting, evaluating, diagnosing, consulting, and providing specialized treatment for patients with congenital or acquired lung diseases.
- Utilizing a wide variety of invasive and noninvasive diagnostic and therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
- Providing specialized care to patients within the intensive care setting in accordance with established unit policies and safety guidelines.
- Assessing, stabilizing, and determining the appropriate disposition for patients presenting with emergent respiratory conditions.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualified candidates must meet the following minimum education and credential requirements:
- Possession of an M.D., D.O., or equivalent medical degree.
- Successful completion of an accredited fellowship training program.
- Licensure to practice medicine (or eligibility to obtain the same through the appropriate medical board).
- Board certification (or board eligibility) in the relevant medical specialty.
