This position is for the first shift, operating from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Additionally, a $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
- Apply labels to medication packaging, scan, and assemble items into appropriate bins accurately and timely.
- Communicate inventory needs and assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels, including removing expired or unused medications.
- Consistently meet the pharmacy’s established accuracy and productivity standards while working collaboratively with team members.
- Maintain a clean, orderly workstation, restock supplies, and comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Maryland.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment handling multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
- Ability to commit to the required work schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PTCB certification.
- Prior pharmacy experience.
Compensation and Benefits: The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour, with actual pay determined by factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. Eligible employees may also receive a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase options, and 401(k) contributions, subject to eligibility requirements.
