Optum is currently seeking dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians to join our growing team. Our practice model emphasizes quality over quantity, allowing you to focus on your patients with manageable daily patient volumes and extended appointment times. You will benefit from a predictable schedule featuring a 4.5-day work week with early Friday departures and no overnight call responsibilities, giving you the autonomy to practice at the top of your license while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

Providing comprehensive primary care services to adult, family, or geriatric patients.
Participating in robust transitional care and high-risk outreach programs.
Engaging with consistent feedback on quality measures, diagnostic accuracy, and hospitalization rates.
Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team to coordinate patient care.

Required qualifications for the role include:

M.D. or D.O. degree.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
An active, unrestricted medical license (with the ability to obtain licensure as required by the practice location).
Valid DEA and CDS licenses or the ability to obtain them.

Preferred qualifications include Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and prior clinical experience in adult, family, or geriatric care settings.

We offer a competitive total rewards package designed to recognize your hard work and professional contributions. Compensation generally ranges from $226,000 to $366,000, which includes a competitive guaranteed base salary and up to a 20 percent annual bonus based on quality care metrics, sign-on bonus opportunities, and potential increases over time based on productivity and performance.
