L3Harris Technologies, the Trusted Disruptor in the defense industry, is seeking a talented professional for a Sr. Associate, Test/Integration Engineer position located in Greenville, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for performing subsystem and system-level testing, troubleshooting, and integration activities for critical defense systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Performing subsystem pre-operational checks and configuring Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) for single and multi-thread interface and operation.
- Executing subsystem and system-level Ground Test Plans, as well as conducting insertion loss testing of RF harness assemblies.
- Isolating system and subsystem issues down to the component level, identifying LRU failures, and executing necessary repairs, replacements, and retests.
- Identifying hardware, software, and firmware anomalies and recommending corrective actions through enterprise software applications.
- Supporting EMI/Tempest testing, software and hardware development integration, and aircraft pre-flight readiness activities.
- Operating advanced test equipment, such as network analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital multimeters, and fiber optic test devices.
- Preparing and reviewing engineering documents, and advising on design changes to improve operational capabilities and equipment efficiency.
- Participating in in-flight duties as an observer on airborne platforms when required.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet specific educational and experience criteria, which include a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience, a Graduate Degree with 0 to 2 years of experience, or a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Additional qualifications and requirements include:
- Familiarity with industry-standard test equipment, COTS hardware, and Windows-based programs.
- Experience maintaining SIGINT/COMINT mission or communications systems aboard U.S. military airborne and/or ground-based platforms.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOD Secret or Top Secret Security clearance with SCI, which requires U.S. citizenship.
- The ability to obtain a FAA Class III flight physical and maintain qualifications for in-flight duties.
- Flexibility regarding assigned work schedules and shifts to support organizational objectives.
- Preferred skills include strong test environment experience, familiarity with RC135 platforms, and a strong work ethic.
