L3Harris Technologies, the Trusted Disruptor in the defense industry, is seeking a qualified professional for a Test/Integration Engineer role based in Greenville, TX. In this position, you will join an inclusive, engaging environment dedicated to national security, delivering cutting-edge technology solutions across space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains.
As a Test/Integration Engineer, you will perform critical technical functions to ensure the readiness and reliability of complex defense systems. Your core responsibilities will include conducting subsystem pre-operational checks, configuring Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), performing ground test plans, and executing insertion loss testing of RF harness assemblies. You will also utilize standard and specialized test equipment to perform comprehensive system and subsystem troubleshooting down to the component level, identifying hardware, software, and firmware anomalies while recommending corrective actions.
Additional responsibilities involve supporting EMI and Tempest testing, assisting with hardware and software development integration, participating in aircraft pre-flight readiness activities, and potentially serving in-flight as an observer on airborne platforms. You will also review engineering documents, interact frequently with various functional organizations and customers, and employ a variety of industry-standard test devices such as network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
Qualifications for this role include:
- A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience, a Graduate Degree with 0 to 2 years of experience, or a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
- The ability to obtain an FAA Class III flight physical and maintain qualification for in-flight duties.
- Experience maintaining SIGINT/COMINT mission or communications systems aboard U.S. military airborne and/or ground-based platforms.
- Familiarity with industry-standard test equipment, COTS hardware, and Windows-based software applications.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOD Secret Security clearance, with the ultimate ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills, along with the flexibility to adapt to assigned work schedules and shifts.
