L3Harris Technologies is seeking a dedicated professional for a Manager, Configuration Management position located in Point, TX. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of the daily activities of five teams across two sites. These teams consist of configuration and data management, software configuration management, and technical editing specialists.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Communicating within and outside of your own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
• Making moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes while contributing to departmental goals and operating plans with a direct impact on results.
• Providing team leadership and managing staffing activities, including forecasting and hiring.
• Developing, monitoring, analyzing, and acting upon team operational metrics.
• Applying familiarity with configuration and data management specifications, as well as configuration control of military and commercial (FAA) documents.
• Utilizing strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications and requirements for this role:

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Education and experience pathways: A Bachelor’s Degree with nine (9) years of Configuration and Data Management experience; a Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of Configuration and Data experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of Configuration and Data Management experience.
• Knowledge of the conduct of functional and physical configuration audits is desired.
• Basic aircraft knowledge is preferred as an additional skill.
