Optum is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our clinician-led care organization. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you will play an integral role in our vision to make healthcare better for everyone, backed by the clinical resources, data, and support of a global organization.
In this outpatient role, your primary responsibilities will include managing patient care, conducting consults and follow-up appointments, performing well-checks, and scheduling screenings. You will work standard outpatient hours from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no on-call duties and no weekends. The average daily patient census ranges from 18 to 20 patients, featuring dedicated support staff including nurses and medical assistants to assist you.
Position Highlights:
- Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call and no weekends
- Outpatient care setting focusing primarily on an adult and senior patient base
- Structured appointment times allowing for 40-minute new patient visits and 20-minute follow-up visits

Required Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Unrestricted State Medical License
- Current DEA certificate
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish speaking abilities
- One or more years of experience working in primary care
The annual salary range for this full-time role is $229,500 to $378,000, determined by factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
