Vascular Neurologist

Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC), a major academic medical center within the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network, is seeking a full-time Vascular Neurologist to join its nationally recognized Division of Cerebrovascular Diseases and Joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in Hackensack, New Jersey.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care within a leading 775-bed teaching hospital that sees approximately 900 annual stroke admissions. You will work alongside a highly experienced team of neurosurgeons, interventional surgical neuroradiologists, and 24/7 stroke APNs, with night call supported by telemedicine robots. Your responsibilities will also include seeing patients in outpatient stroke clinics and engaging in educational activities, such as training medical students and neurology residents.

The successful candidate must meet the following professional qualifications:

• Completion of a residency in Neurology and an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Vascular Neurology
• Board certification in Neurology and board certification or eligibility in Vascular Neurology
• Excellent clinical skills with a track record of teaching medical students and residents, as well as a track record of scholarship
• Eligibility for professional licensure, DEA, and CDS licenses in the state of New Jersey
• Eligibility for a faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, with rank commensurate with experience and publication record

HMH is committed to pay transparency and equity. In accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act, the minimum base salary for this position is $333,931. Please note that this figure represents a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay at the time of posting and does not include the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, specialization, education, certifications, productivity, and internal equity. In addition to base compensation, a comprehensive benefits package is available for eligible positions.
