We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Rheumatology to join our clinical team in Olympia, WA. In this full-time role, working Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., you will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals with rheumatologic conditions, helping improve health outcomes and advance health equity on a global scale.

As an APP in our outpatient clinic setting, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostic testing to diagnose and manage conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, and spondyloarthropathies.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications per evidence-based guidelines, and monitoring treatment effectiveness.
  • Performing procedural support tasks such as joint injections, aspirations, and musculoskeletal ultrasound as appropriate.
  • Providing clear education and long-term follow-up for chronic rheumatologic conditions to empower patients in managing their symptoms.
  • Collaborating closely with rheumatologists, nurses, medical assistants, and physical therapists while accurately documenting patient encounters in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives, compliance protocols, peer support, and ongoing professional development.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current, unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Washington.
  • Board certification by a recognized national body (e.g., ANCC, NCCPA).
  • Proven advanced knowledge of common rheumatologic diseases and experience performing joint injections and aspirations.
  • Ability to manage complex patients with chronic autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 to $164,000, which includes base pay and bonus opportunities based on factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, productivity, and performance. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment in our drug-free workplace.
