As a Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for engaging clients in the lobby to educate and assist them with conducting transactions through self-service resources, including mobile banking, online banking, and ATMs. You will also accurately and efficiently process cash transactions as needed and have meaningful, in-depth conversations with clients to uncover their financial and life priorities, connecting them with appropriate solutions to meet their goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing the bank’s risk culture and striving for operational excellence
  • Building and nurturing lasting relationships with clients to understand and meet their financial needs
  • Following established processes, guidelines, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and do what is right for clients and the bank
  • Growing business knowledge and expanding your professional network by partnering with internal specialists in small business, lending, and investments
  • Managing financial center traffic, scheduled appointments, and outbound calls effectively
  • Driving an exceptional client experience and handling day-to-day cash responsibilities

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • High School Diploma, GED, Secondary School, or equivalent (Bachelor’s or business-relevant Associate’s Degree preferred)
  • An enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter mindset with a strong work ethic, intense focus on results, and a dedication to acting in clients’ best interests
  • Strong collaboration skills to build effective partnerships and get things done
  • Confidence in identifying solutions, communicating effectively, and educating clients on self-service banking technologies
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
  • Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours, and the ability to travel to financial center locations within a reasonable distance
  • Desirable experience includes a background in financial services, previous cash handling experience, and a proven track record in a salary plus incentive sales environment
