L3Harris is actively seeking an Associate Manager for Systems Integration and Test Engineering to join our team in Waco, TX. We are looking for a dedicated professional with strong knowledge of systems integration and test engineering, coupled with a broad understanding of management practices. In this role, you will manage Systems Test teams performing complex modification integration and test efforts, communicating both within and outside the functional group to secure cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
As an Associate Manager, you will be responsible for driving moderate to substantial improvements to systems test methods and processes as needed. Your leadership will directly impact departmental results through the achievement of key departmental goals and operating plans.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Establishing and maintaining program budgets and schedules
- Forecasting test engineering manpower requirements
- Determining hiring needs and conducting searches to onboard qualified systems test engineers
- Leading and mentoring a systems test functional team
- Preparing and delivering effective presentations to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical professionals, including senior-level management
- Representing L3Harris during interactions with military and commercial customers
- Authoring and reviewing test plans and procedures to ensure systems design requirements are properly tested and certified
- Evaluating alternative solutions and establishing preliminary use cases for systems test requirements
- Writing effective verification test procedures to ensure system performance and capabilities meet specified requirements
Qualifications for this position:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience is required
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to meet eligibility requirements for security clearance and access to classified information
Preferred additional skills include proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, excellent written, oral, and team communication skills, and the ability to work successfully both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
