Optum CA is seeking a dedicated Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our clinical team in Northridge and Mission Hills, California. As a member of our clinician-led care organization, you will play an integral part in our vision to make healthcare better for everyone, backed by the comprehensive clinical resources, data, and support of a global organization.
In this ambulatory care setting, you will practice autonomously while collaborating closely with primary care peers and a dedicated care team. Your responsibilities will include managing a wide range of obstetrical and gynecological conditions, conducting routine well-woman exams, overseeing pre-natal care, and handling follow-up appointments. You can expect to see an average of 18 to 20 patients per day on a Monday through Friday schedule, with an on-call schedule operating in a 5-person rotation. Deliveries and surgeries are performed at a nearby hospital and ASC.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), or M.B.B.S. degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of California, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
- Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment
- Active BLS certification

Total cash compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $291,500 to $501,000, which includes base pay and bonuses based on factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, productivity, and performance.
