We are currently seeking candidates for full-time hourly opportunities, which may include Dinner Cook and Specialty Cook positions. As a culinary team member, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve preparing high-quality dishes, executing recipes accurately, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and collaborating effectively with fellow team members and leadership in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Basic Qualifications for these roles include:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
- A strong passion for culinary arts and delighting guests with food.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a culinary field with a focus on high-volume production, or a culinary education degree/equivalent experience if you have less than 2 years of field experience.
- Proficient knife skills and proven knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology.
- Proven ability to read and understand recipes.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and adaptability to production requirements in a fast-paced team environment.
- Speed, accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events, as our resort operates around the clock.
Preferred qualifications include vocational school training, high school certification, a culinary education degree, certification from the CIA or equivalent, and basic wine knowledge.
Compensation for these positions includes a pay rate of $28.00 per hour for the Fine Dining Dinner Cook role and $30.00 per hour for the Fine Dining Specialty Cook role. Select benefits may also be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
