Located within Centerstone of Indiana at 645 S Rogers St Suite C in Bloomington, IN, this position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. External candidates may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
In this vital leadership role, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations, dispense prescription medications, and dedicate meaningful, one-on-one time with consumers. You will manage the financial, clinical, and quality aspects of pharmacy services while cultivating strong relationships with consumers, clinic partners, and the surrounding community. Additionally, you will coach, develop, and mentor pharmacy staff to foster an engaging, compassionate team environment.
Primary responsibilities for the Pharmacy Manager include:
- Creating exceptional consumer and clinic partner experiences and building proactive relationships to meet their healthcare needs.
- Serving as an expert resource for clinical staff to help achieve positive clinical outcomes.
- Counseling and educating patients regarding medication usage, schedules, potential adverse effects, and answering personal health questions.
- Ensuring full compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and internal standards.
- Performing wellness services such as administering immunizations and flu shots.
- Driving financial profitability, business planning, and growth opportunities for the pharmacy site.
- Motivating, coaching, and recruiting top talent to maintain operational excellence and an engaging team culture.
- Reviewing key performance indicators with staff to identify improvement trends and executing local marketing plans.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD.
- A current pharmacist license in the state of Indiana.
- Certification as an immunizer, or the willingness to become certified within 3 months of hire.
Preferred qualifications include three or more years of pharmacy leadership experience and authorization to administer long-acting injectables, or the willingness to obtain this authorization within 3 months of hire.
The annual salary for this full-time role ranges from $110,200 to $188,800, determined by factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
