NP – Cardiology

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a dedicated Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a full-time basis in Alexandria, Louisiana. As part of a robust multispecialty network featuring over 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers across 41 specialties and numerous clinic locations, you will collaborate with a clinician-led organization where providers have a direct voice through the Physician Board of Directors.

In this role, you will help deliver high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care. To support your clinical workflow and reduce administrative burdens, our practice utilizes an AI-enabled clinical documentation solution designed to save time and allow you to focus more of your attention directly on patient care.

Key responsibilities for this position typically include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical evaluations, assessments, and physical examinations for cardiology patients.
• Developing, implementing, and managing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests such as EKGs, lab work, and imaging.
• Educating patients and their families regarding cardiac conditions, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records utilizing our advanced clinical documentation systems.

Candidates must be licensed in the state of Louisiana or be eligible to obtain licensure prior to starting.
