Maintenance – Level I

As a Maintenance Worker, you will perform various maintenance duties to ensure our community meets the high-quality standards set by ELS. You will work closely with management and your team to maintain a clean, safe, and appealing property.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Performing light appliance repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting, groundskeeping, and janitorial tasks.
• Ensuring amenity spaces are well-maintained and operating properly.
• Maintaining grounds and keeping them free from trash and debris.
• Attending morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
• Communicating regularly and professionally with other maintenance workers, management, and staff, and collaborating on special maintenance projects.
• Reporting maintenance concerns directly to management and executing necessary repairs.
• Moving heavy objects, operating heavy equipment, and driving maintenance trucks to various locations on the property.
• Monitoring and controlling maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Possess a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Hold a high school diploma or possess equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Maintain the willingness to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.
