Certified Nursing Assistant

Masonicare Health Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for the day shift at our 260-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Wallingford, CT. This is a 32-hour position working every other weekend, offering the opportunity to be part of an organization that is a leader in senior care in Connecticut and is committed to improving the quality of life for those we serve.

In this role, you will perform basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. You will be responsible for following a personalized treatment plan designed to meet the appropriate age, needs, and abilities of each resident and patient in our care.

Key responsibilities for this position typically include:

• Assisting residents and patients with daily meals and nourishment
• Safely transferring individuals using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices
• Assisting with ambulation, mobility, and physical support
• Providing essential support with personal hygiene, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
• Observing resident status and reporting changes to the nursing team
• Maintaining a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment aligned with our core values of innovation, accountability, respect, compassion, and excellence

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Current Connecticut certification as a nurse’s aide (C.N.A.)
• Current CPR certification
