Interviews are a two-way conversation — here’s how to prepare with confidence.
Research beyond the About page
Understand what the company actually does, who their customers are, and — if possible — recent news or product launches. This lets you ask sharper, more specific questions.
Prepare stories, not just answers
Use a simple structure (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to describe past experiences. Concrete examples are far more memorable than general claims like “I’m a team player.”
Ask questions that matter to you
What does success look like in this role after 6 months? What’s the team’s biggest current challenge? Good questions signal genuine interest and help you evaluate the role too.
Follow up
A short, specific thank-you note within a day of the interview — referencing something you discussed — keeps you top of mind and shows attention to detail.
