ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a dedicated and visionary Education Program Director for a full-time position located in Elgin, Kane County. We are a growing, dynamic organization with a social mission to offer hope, and we are looking for a qualified professional to join our award-winning Special Education team for the 2026-2027 School Year.
In this role, you will perform meaningful work within a special education program environment serving students in grades 6-12. You will be part of a culture that welcomes innovation, encourages creative expression, and offers limitless potential for personal and professional growth.
Key responsibilities for the Education Program Director typically include:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations and academic programming for the special education program
- Providing leadership, support, and guidance to teachers, staff, and related service providers
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal education standards and student IEPs
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture focused on student achievement and well-being
- Collaborating with families, school districts, and community stakeholders to support student success
Compensation details:
- Starting Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year, determined based on relevant experience
- Employment Type: Full-time
