UCHealth is seeking dedicated and compassionate new graduate registered nurses to join our team in the Metro Denver area, specifically in Lakewood and Denver. This is a full-time, 0.9 FTE opportunity offering a dynamic schedule with rotating shifts to nights or unit-specific hours, totaling 72 hours per pay period.
As a New Graduate RN in this position, you will be hired and enrolled for your first 12 months of clinical practice in the renowned UCHealth Nurse Residency Program. Your specific clinical practice specialty designation will be determined during the interview and hiring process, allowing you to launch your nursing career in an area that aligns with your professional goals and the needs of our patients.
Responsibilities within this role include:
- Delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with applicable professional scopes and standards of practice.
- Participating fully in the UCHealth Nurse Residency Program, utilizing structured mentorship, educational sessions, and evidence-based practice projects to build your clinical confidence and competence.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
- Adhering strictly to the policies, values, and mission of UCHealth in all daily patient interactions and clinical duties.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records and communicating proactively with patients, families, and colleagues.
