In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment. We are looking for someone who thrives in a stable, team-focused environment and is ready to make a real impact on our daily operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on heavy-duty trucks and plant equipment.
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues accurately and efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed in accordance with company and safety standards.
- Mentoring and guiding fellow mechanics, providing leadership and technical support on the shop floor.
- Ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment that adheres to all workplace safety regulations and policies.
