At RAC, we appreciate the dedication of our colleagues who go the extra mile for our customers. We are currently seeking a Roadside Technician for night shifts based around Coventry, covering areas such as Coventry, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Rugby, Kenilworth, and Leamington Spa.
This is a full-time position offering a salary of £60,000 per year, supported by our commitment to recognising hard work and dedication on the road.
As a key member of our field team, your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve:
- Attending to motorists at the roadside who have experienced vehicle breakdowns or mechanical issues.
- Diagnosing and attempting first-time fixes on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models using your technical expertise.
- Providing exceptional customer service and reassurance to members during stressful situations.
- Safely towing or recovering vehicles when a roadside repair is not possible.
- Accurately completing digital job records and maintaining equipment and vehicle standards.
To support you in your role, we organise work locally so you can conveniently start and finish your shifts directly from home, focusing your working day entirely on getting our members moving again.
