Family Liaison Officer and Attendance Lead

Outcomes First Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Liaison Officer and Attendance Lead to join the team at Underley Garden School, located near Gargrave and Skipton. In this important role, you will serve as the key connection between home and school, working closely with families and staff to support student engagement and wellbeing.

This is a permanent, term-time-only position offering a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are committed to helping our team members maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.

Key responsibilities in this role typically include:

• Acting as the primary point of contact between families and the school to foster strong, supportive relationships.
• Monitoring student attendance patterns, identifying barriers to regular attendance, and implementing effective improvement strategies.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to provide holistic support for students and their households.
• Maintaining accurate attendance records and producing reports in line with school policies.
• Guiding families through school processes and connecting them with relevant community resources and services.

The salary for this position is £32,500 per annum (not pro rata), and a travel allowance is also included. The anticipated start date for this role is September 2026.
