Amazon TA is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Team Lead to join our operations team at the NCL2 RME facility in Fairfield, Stockton-On-Tees. This is a full-time opportunity offering a salary of £42,235 per year. Amazon Operations sits at the heart of the Amazon customer experience, looking after everything from the moment a customer clicks buy to the moment their item is delivered.
Across Europe, we operate more than 50 Fulfillment Centers, hundreds of Delivery Stations, thousands of machines, and employ tens of thousands of people. All of these moving parts work together in harmony to make sure the right item gets delivered to the right person, in the right place, at the right time. As a Maintenance Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting these complex systems and ensuring continuous operational excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting maintenance technicians, overseeing equipment reliability, and coordinating daily tasks to minimize downtime across the facility. Your leadership will help maintain a safe, efficient, and productive working environment that aligns with our high standards for customer fulfillment.
Key responsibilities and expectations for the role include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of maintenance professionals within a fast-paced fulfillment center environment.
- Ensuring proactive and reactive maintenance is carried out efficiently on a wide range of automated machinery and equipment.
- Promoting strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across all shift activities.
- Collaborating with operations management to optimize equipment availability and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues and managing workflow priorities to meet daily operational targets.
