Merchandiser – Corby

Smiths News is currently seeking a reliable and flexible Merchandiser to join our team on a part-time, zero-hour contract basis. Operating across our extensive network, we are the UK’s largest newspaper and magazine wholesaler, proudly delivering a vital service to more than 22,000 retailers from our 34 distribution centres.

In this role, you will be responsible for visiting various retail locations to ensure our products are displayed effectively, maintained to high standards, and fully stocked. As the face of Smiths News on the ground, you will play a crucial part in supporting our retail partners and upholding our daily commitments.

Key requirements for the position include:

• Holding a full UK driving licence and having regular access to your own vehicle
• The ability to work flexibly on a part-time basis, averaging between 5 to 20 hours per week (hours are not guaranteed)
• Comfort with travel across the region, with travel time and mileage payable subject to eligibility

We offer a competitive hourly pay rate of £14.24, which includes holiday pay. Additional benefits may include a location allowance where applicable, depending on the specifics of the assignment.
