As part of a joint venture, Clough is delivering Project Ceres, a landmark urea plant for Western Australia. This major undertaking represents the largest plant of its kind in Australia and ranks among the largest globally, utilizing highly sustainable production processes. In the role of Permit to Work Coordinator, you will play a vital part in maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency across the site. Your day-to-day focus will involve facilitating the safe execution of construction and commissioning activities through rigorous adherence to permit systems and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities in this position typically include:

  • Managing the end-to-end permit to work process in compliance with project safety standards and site procedures.
  • Reviewing and issuing work permits, ensuring that all necessary isolations, hazard identifications, and risk assessments are completed prior to commencement.
  • Collaborating closely with construction, engineering, and HSE teams to coordinate simultaneous operations and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Conducting field verifications and audits to ensure active permits align with ongoing site activities and safety requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all issued permits, isolations, and safety logs.
  • Providing guidance and support to site personnel regarding permit requirements and safe work practices.
