Fetch Recruitment is currently seeking 10 experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics and Fitters for a brand new project starting ASAP. In this full-time role, you will be based out of Bayswater and work on a FIFO roster from Perth (specifically utilizing 2/1 or 4/2 rosters). You will be an integral part of the Fetch Maintenance Services team, contributing to an exciting new Iron Ore project in Western Australia.
Key responsibilities and duties for this position typically involve:
- Performing scheduled maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of heavy diesel equipment and machinery.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conducting routine inspections and safety checks on all assigned plant and machinery.
- Completing accurate maintenance reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Adhering strictly to site safety protocols and environmental guidelines at all times.
To be considered for this role, you should possess relevant trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Fitter, along with proven experience working on heavy machinery within a mining or similar industrial environment. A strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential.
