DXC Technology is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Workers Compensation PIAWE Specialist to join our team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract based in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our Insurance Software and BPS (ISB) division, where we help global insurers modernize and run their core operations at scale through industry expertise, proven software platforms, and innovative solutions.
In this role, you will focus on specialized Workers Compensation Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE) calculations and assessments. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance with relevant legislation, and efficient claims processing. Your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve:
- Calculating and reviewing complex Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE) for workers compensation claims.
- Ensuring all calculations and adjustments comply with current statutory guidelines and organizational policies.
- Liaising with claimants, employers, and internal teams to gather necessary financial documentation and earnings history.
- Resolving inquiries and discrepancies related to earnings assessments in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation within our insurance and claims management systems.
