Snr Startup Investor Manager, AWS Worldwide Startups

Amazon is seeking a Snr Startup Investor Manager to join the AWS Worldwide Startups team on a full-time basis, located in The Rocks, Sydney. In this role, you will help shape the future of cloud computing by identifying and working closely with the most promising early-stage startups and venture capital firms across Australia and New Zealand.

You will leverage your technical depth, business acumen, and investment insight to help establish AWS as the foundational platform for the next generation of technology companies. By connecting with founders, investors, and startup communities, you will help make the power of cloud computing accessible to emerging businesses as they scale their operations globally.

Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:

• Engaging with venture capital firms, angel investors, and accelerators to build strategic relationships within the startup ecosystem.
• Identifying high-potential early-stage startups and supporting their growth and technical journey on AWS.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with AWS sales, technical, and business development teams to deliver value to startup founders.
• Representing AWS at industry events, pitch nights, and community gatherings to evangelize cloud solutions for startups.
• Guiding founders on best practices for cloud architecture, cost optimization, and leveraging AWS startup programs.
