Witherslack Group is currently seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our team on a part-time basis, working 4 days per week. This role is based across Hall Cliffe School in Wakefield and Abbeywood School in Rotherham, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a specialist education environment.
In this position, you will play a crucial part in our integrated model supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our clinicians find deep fulfillment in affecting positive changes—both large and small—in the lives of our students, helping them achieve those vital milestones and celebrating their progress.
Key responsibilities and duties for this role typically include:
- Providing specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for children and young people with SEND.
- Working collaboratively with education staff, multidisciplinary teams, and families to support student well-being and development.
- Contributing to EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) processes and reviews.
- Delivering training, consultation, and guidance to school staff regarding psychological approaches and strategies.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with professional standards.
