Ramsay Health Care is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to join the team on a part-time basis at their stand-alone oncology unit located at Springfield Hospital in Beeleigh, Maldon. This position is offered at 19 hours per week with a salary of £47,304 per year.
In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within our specialist oncology and Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) department. We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking professional who can contribute to the continued success, clinical excellence, and supportive environment of our specialized unit.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Providing expert clinical care and support to patients undergoing oncology treatments and SACT.
- Administering treatments safely and effectively in accordance with established clinical policies and best practices.
- Monitoring patient progress, managing side effects, and offering compassionate emotional support to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless, coordinated patient care.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering strictly to professional standards and health and safety guidelines.
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an NMC Registered Nurse.
- Possess relevant post-registration qualifications or specialized courses appropriate for an oncology and SACT setting.
- Demonstrate previous experience in a similar nursing environment with a strong commitment to professional development and delivering exceptional patient care.
