We are currently seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on a full-time basis, operating from our Woodside location in Luton with a salary of £19 per year.
As an HGV Class 1 Driver for Ocado Logistics, you will take to the road to deliver and collect products to and from a variety of locations across the UK. You will be utilizing our state-of-the-art fleet, which includes vehicles powered by natural gas for specific routes and fitted with advanced safety technology to ensure a secure and efficient journey. Your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve:
- Safely operating an HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods between our cutting-edge Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) and delivery destinations
- Conducting thorough vehicle checks and walk-around inspections prior to departure
- Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with relevant transport regulations
- Completing all necessary delivery paperwork and digital logging accurately and on time
- Communicating effectively with transport office teams regarding route progress and any potential delays
We are looking for candidates who hold a valid HGV Class 1 driving licence and relevant Driver CPC qualifications.
