Witherslack Group is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Manager for a Children’s Home located in Fulbrook, Burford. This is a full-time position offering a salary of £47,759 per year, with additional earning potential detailed within the total package up to £79,185, including a 30% bonus accrued each year for an eight-bed children’s home.
Working in our children’s homes means becoming an integral part of a young person’s day-to-day life. This role requires you to be there for the highest highs and the lowest lows, helping to guide and support vulnerable individuals through their formative experiences. As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for ensuring the home environment remains secure, safe, and motivating for everyone under your care.
Your core responsibilities in this leadership role will typically include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations and smooth running of the children’s home to maintain high standards of care.
- Managing, mentoring, and motivating a dedicated team of support staff to ensure best practices and professional growth.
- Ensuring full compliance with relevant regulatory standards, statutory guidelines, and company policies.
- Creating a warm, nurturing, and secure living environment where young people feel safe and empowered to achieve positive outcomes.
- Building strong relationships with external agencies, families, and professionals to support the holistic development of the residents.
- Handling challenges effectively and calmly, providing guidance to staff during difficult situations.
