Join the RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in our SMR Division and be part of a new era of mobile repair. Based out of Delapre, Northampton, this is an exciting full-time opportunity to deliver high-quality vehicle servicing and maintenance directly to our customers.
In this role, you will travel to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and service a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safely and efficiently returned to the road. You will manage your daily workload independently, representing the RAC brand with professionalism and top-tier customer service.
We are offering a competitive total earning potential of up to £52,000 per year, which includes a strong base salary supplemented by on-target earnings, additional overtime, and bonus opportunities. You will also have access to a guaranteed overtime option to help increase your base earnings further.
Key responsibilities and working details include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and mobile repairs on a range of customer vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently
- Working 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Working a shift pattern that includes 1 in 4 Saturdays
- Managing company equipment, tools, and stock responsibly
- Providing exceptional customer service and clear communication on all completed work
