MOBILE FRAMING SYDNEY PTY LTD is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Picture Framer (ANZSCO 394212) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Located in Banksmeadow within the Botany Bay area of Sydney, we provide professional framing solutions and are looking for an experienced trade professional to contribute to our operations.
In this role, you will play an essential part in the creation and preservation of quality framed pieces. You will work closely with clients to deliver exceptional service and craftsmanship, ensuring every item is handled with care and precision from start to finish.
Your day-to-day duties and responsibilities will typically include the following:
- Consult with customers to determine suitable framing styles, materials, and presentation options for artworks, photographs, and memorabilia.
- Measure, cut, and join timber and aluminium framing materials accurately using specialized workshop equipment.
- Mount, mat, and secure artworks using conservation-grade techniques and materials where appropriate.
- Cut and fit glass, acrylic, and backing boards to complete frames to high aesthetic and structural standards.
- Inspect finished products for quality control, ensuring they meet company standards prior to customer delivery or pickup.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, including the proper upkeep of tools and machinery.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of A$75,000 to A$85,000 per year, plus superannuation.
