We are currently seeking a qualified, skilled, and dedicated Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis in Pinjarra Hills, Brisbane.
In this role, you will play an essential part in bringing our building projects to life, working on a variety of carpentry tasks ranging from initial framing to detailed finishing work. We offer a competitive salary of A$80,000 to A$90,000 per year (plus Superannuation) and a supportive work environment.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Performing all aspects of carpentry and joinery on residential and commercial building projects
- Reading and interpreting architectural plans, blueprints, and drawings
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, drywall, and other materials
- Installing fixtures such as doors, windows, staircases, and hardware
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, safety standards, and project specifications
- Collaborating effectively with site supervisors, other tradespeople, and project team members
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work site
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess relevant trade qualifications and proven experience as a carpenter within the construction industry. You must have a strong eye for detail, a commitment to high standards of workmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. A valid white card and reliable transport are essential.
